This lesson creates a powerful ease and openness through the entire chest and back. Movements of the spine through the chest help to differentiate ribs and vertebra. Variations of the pelvis help to push the spine upward creating length and differentiating it from the chest.
The hands drape over the head to hold it while you explore many ways of twisting through the spine. The result is tremendous freedom of the neck and spine.
This lesson cultivates a twist through the torso coordinating the flexors and extensors. Alternately expanding the chest and abdomen improves the twisting.
