The hands drape over the head to hold it while you explore many ways of twisting through the spine. Variations of moving the pelvis create the rotation through the spine. The result of the lesson is tremendous freedom of the neck and spine.
This year (2017) we are exploring Alexander Yani lessons. These were lessons Dr. Feldenkrais taught at his studio on Alexander Yani Street in TeleVive, Israel.
This lesson cultivates a twist through the torso coordinating the flexors and extensors. Alternately expanding the chest and abdomen improves the twisting.
