The upper back can
often be a source of discomfort. Stress, anxiety, accident or sitting
at a desk can lead to pain and stiffness in the thoracic spine.
We will do a series of lessons designed to bring awareness and flexibility
to this often troubled area of the back. Improving the movements of twisting,
side bending, flexion, extension and breathing will be key to this class.
Develop more flexibility in your upper back and discover greater comfort
and ease in your daily life.

Awareness
Through Movement is a series of verbally guided, gentle, slow and organized
movements typically done on the floor on a mat in a group setting. These
lessons guide your awareness toward your own movement patterns. You begin
to generate more choices in thought, emotion and action, and problems and
discomfort are resolved. |
