| What
is Awareness Through Movement? |
 |
Awareness
Through Movement is a series of verbally guided,
gentle, slow and organized movements
typically done on the oor in a group setting. Lessons
may also be done sitting or standing. These lessons guide
students’ awareness toward sensing their own movement
patterns, exploring new ways of moving, and integrating
more choice into their movement habits.
How
should I prepare for a class?
Bring your curiosity and wear comfortable clothing. Mats
are provided. If you want extra support for your neck
or shoulder, feel free to bring a towel.
Do
I need prior experience?
No experience is necessary. People of all ages and skill
level are welcome. Lessons are taught to all levels.
